If you enjoy architectural history, vintage pillow cases, and produce grown onsite, this, my friends, is the Bed and Breakfast experience for you.

We’re situated right in the middle of a working farm of Baby Gold peach orchards, extensive vineyards, and kitchen gardens on the edge of the prettiest town in Canada. The House of Elsie is a brick Cubic Regency Gentlemen’s Farmhouse built in 1819, decorated with antique furniture and fine art.

The gardens are lush, natural, and wild with some plants and trees that have been here for over 100 years. Look for vegetables & berry bushes interspersed with the perennials.

Breakfast will be of a more traditional fare, historic in nature, incorporating what’s in season in the garden, and eggs from our girls out back. Vegetarian and vegan options are one of our specialties.

This historic home is conveniently located minutes from old town, a myriad of restaurants, the Shaw Festival Theatre, dozens of wineries, farm gate markets, historic attractions, and walking and cycling trails.

The House of Elsie is an adult only, fully inclusive, traditional Bed and Breakfast. Sorry, no TVs, but great WIFI.

10:00 pm is quiet time.

We need our beauty sleep in order to serve you all in the morning.

All rooms are double occupancy, with a minimum two night stay.

Discounts for 7+ day stays.

15% discount for Royal Canadian Legion members, Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum members, and Canadian Professional Engineers with valid membership card/number.
